Learning Tent Update

So...Chica's summer dance session started back up today and it was so nice to see some of her friends (and their moms) after a few weeks apart that we hosted an impromptu play date to keep the fun going.

Which was fantastic, as always, and made the kiddos super happy.

But while here, the other moms noticed the addition of the tent in the playroom, and I found myself chatting about its purpose--which then got me thinking about sharing a little update on this here blog.

Long and short--our Learning Tent has worked exactly according to my original, diabolical plan (muahahahaha).

We use it daily for Leap Pad/iPad learning time (in about 15-20 minute spurts, morning and afternoon), and the girlies enjoy it so much they don't even know their little brains are growing ;)

And I've been wildly impressed with Chicklet's quick growth in terms of dexterity with her apps. She's gettin' her iPad finger on ;)

Best part: we're now able to sort of sit outside the tent without major drama, so we don't have to get so claustrophobic when brother wants to check things out, too. But the tent is still usually the epicenter.

So yay for a learning situation that's working!

Happy Hump Day, peeps!
