Some Little (Big) Things

To wrap up this lovely, low-key weekend, I'm gonna keep things short and sweet and share some awesome, little (big) happenings at our casa.

1.
For the very first time ever, Chica willingly admitted--without prompting--that some of her shoes were "a little bit tight." Ha.

In the past, even when I've been able to see her toes all scrunched and jammed into her beloved jellies, she's denied, denied, denied that they're anything but luxuriously roomy. "They're fine. They're fiiiiiine."

So it's a good thing I was one step ahead of her and already purchased a handful of those beloved jellies in the next size up. (And two colors of them in the next, next size up. Just for kicks--and 'cause I know we'll need them before the summer's out.)

Oh, and Chicklet has been bumped up a size, as well. So it was a great shoe rotation and cleansing 'round our casa tonight.

2.
Chica also willingly selected and actually wore (that's the real kicker) a pair of flip-flops, with the bit between her toes.

That's major, peeps.

And I know it's for realsies because she's worn them a second time. So it must be love.

In case you were wondering, here are the magical flops. (These are matching ones for Chicklet--who hasn't yet worn hers--so let's all place bets if she will.)

3.
And lastly, for this little (big) report. I planted pots a month ago. I've kept the bunnies at bay. And they are still alive--and thriving, I might add.

And the kiddos are thriving, too :)

We were all adorably and obnoxiously color-coordinated for church today, which makes my heart sing.

Ah, my little loves.

Swim lessons start on Tuesday, which means: a) the summer is truly here, and, b) the FUN and madness and HEAT of it will be, too.

Nighty, night, peeps!
