Our Pumpkin Witch

Over the weekend, the girlies worked on an adorable little pumpkin project that Grandma brought to town with her. And since it involved painting (their very favorite thing), it was a winner.

First, they painted the pumpkin black (with great care and, of course, great splatter).

And then, when they started to go too off-grid, I cut them off and we added some glitter flair, which is our favorite pumpkin finisher these days. (No pics of that, as it required full-contact oversight to avoid a glitter bomb).

Once it dried overnight, we added the witchy arms, legs and head, and look how cute. And overall, super easy.

We've had so much fun so far with our Halloween crafts. We're gonna live 'em up for the next few weeks before we transition to Thanksgiving flair.
