Einsteins & Eggs

So...my babies have a new television obsession, that actually isn't anything new, but it was fresh to the Disney Jr. rotation after the New Year, so it's new to their wee eyes.

Drum roll, puh-lease...

I mean, they are enthralled. Enamored. Totally into it.

AND SO AM I. Because it's sooooo educational. They're learning about music and the arts and global geography and cultures, and they don't even know it

It's seriously the best.

Aaaaand...it's pretty much the cutest thing ever to watch them join in on the hand motions when it's called for on the show.

Gotta love that audience participation when the audience participanta are tiny tots!

I mean, even my Little Man is silly, giggly obsessed and does the motions and says, "pat, pat, pat," like he's supposed to in order to launch the rocket ship. Hehe. :)

My only question--and it's sort of a big one: why do the Little Einstens only have four fingers???

I'll pause a moment while you think on that and get back to me.

Aaaaaand, now for the second portion of this post. A cute little Easter egg project we finished a couple days ago.

It didn't call for painting, but we did it anyway to add a little flair. ;)

And, yes, yes, Chicklet is wearing her bathing suit over her pajamas.

It's a good look on her, ha.

Full disclosure--I did the yarn bit to sew the painted halves together when the kiddos were sleeping. And everything turned out super cute.

Happy Monday, peeps!

Over and out.
