Chalk It Up As A Win

Oh my goodness, we were blessed with a beauuutiful non-rainy Monday (before the gloom comes back for a couple of days tomorrow), and we took complete advantage.

We played on the school playground an extra-long time at pick-up, we came home and grabbed our bikes and took a ride around the neighborhood, and then, for the cherry on top of the happy-weather sundae, we busted out our chalk and made the patio gorgeously colorful.

It. Was. Lovely.

All of it.

A few hours of sun was just what we needed.

And—bonus—the kiddos were so dirty afterwards that bath time came early. ;)
