Spring has officially sprung!
Daffodils are blooming.
A few trees are, as well.
Spring Break is days away.
And..tonight was Open House at school!
I mean, how has so much of the year passed by in such a blink?!
Before I know it, I’ll have a first-grader on my hands, and I absolutely cannot deal with that reality!
Warning: obnoxious braggadocious-ness ahead.
Chica continues to thrive at her school. :)
She routinely receives merit/behavioral prizes within her classroom like gold slips and treasure chest toys, and every teacher who comes into contact with her—and we saw them all tonight!—raves about her attentiveness, her smile, and her kindness (and her necklaces, hehe).
I could not be more proud.
It was great fun to be on her turf tonight for a rowdy whirlwind through the school.

And speaking of before-I-know-it-scenarios...I will die when these two are in elementary, as well.
I mean, one of the teachers who loves Chica told me tonight that she’d take any and all children I’ve got. And I wanted to warn her to be super-super sure about that request, ha. ‘Cause if these two aren’t trouble—and way too close in height these days—I don’t know what is.
Love all my crazy babies, and I love that we’ve all become so acclimated to our elementary school. I’m grateful to feel so comfortable on these stomping grounds.
Yay, Spring!
And, yay, for heading into the final three-month-stretch of the school year strong!
