Mosaic Cross Project

Oh my heavens, my two youngest and I had such a lovely day today while Chica was at school. 

It was the perfect blend of quality time, laziness, learning, productivity, creative play and projects—which all sounds way too ambitious, and also counter-productive, but I swear it was really the best.

And easy breezy.

And totally needed, mental health-wise. :)

Aside from the most fantastic, focused, totally snuggly reading time I had with Chicklet during quiet time (we read a lot of stories; also, I’m way too obnoxious with the adjectives tonight, but just roll with it, m’kay?), my favorite bit was this mosaic cross project I busted out.

We have oodles of happy success these days with the foam shapes/stickers kind of projects, and this one was a major hit.

They were silent and studious and totally diggin’ their creations. And tomorrow, I’ll give Chica some time to make one, too, since she missed out.

She was totally just giggling about her stickers and I luuuurv it.









I think the final results were so beautimous. :)
