Chica’s SIXTH Birthday—Decorations!

Oh my goodness, I don’t even have words to describe how insane it is that my baby girl is six years old today!!

(Or, more accurately, that she was six years old two days ago...but we decided to sync up all the decorations and festivities and family fun we have planned all in one day. And since this might be the last year we can trick her about the actual date of the big day, we did, ha. So a happy Friday birthday it is!)

Anywho...

We have a fun outing planned for this afternoon, but it’s unlikely I’ll take time to post, so I’ll share some fun from this morning.

The summary: Chica couldn’t decide amongst her very favorite things in order to pick a theme, so she just...didn’t. And we landed on a Cheetah-Rapunzel-Descendants birthday. Woohoo!

I’m sort of impressed and scared that we managed to whip all this together in 80 minutes flat last night. What does that say about how many balloon arches I’ve created in the past few years??? ;)

As always, I woke the birthday girl with some balloons and she was pumped to go downstairs and check things out. (So pumped, in fact, that she woke too excited to sleep in the middle of the night, and Daddy has to soothe her into some rest again, ha.)

Not gonna lie—the giant stuffed cheetah is awesomesauce. And the hit of the day.

This is her face when she opened the locket necklace we bought her and I adore it—the face, mostly, but also the locket.

As soon as the cheetah arrive via Amazon, I told the m hubby I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why it (she?) hadn’t been living with us already. I mean, we’re a cheetah-obsessed household, so this poor stuffed animal never stood a chance!

Can’t wait for more fun today, but for now, I’m so grateful my six-year-old baby girl is glowing and so happy for her birthday!

Over and out.
