More Mystery Reading Fun!

Okie dokie.

More catch-up posting tonight, peeps! Woohoo!

This one is good, playful, classroom fun for the holidays.

Another round of Mystery Reading duty in Chica’s classroom (where I got to show up as a surprise reader after lunchtime and enjoy some good, silly books with the kiddos, and then a little craft I brought along).

Unlike last time, when I was flying solo, this round included a particularly handsome chaperone:

And with my chaperone dressed in full Gecko gear, we made for a particularly merry, holiday-colored pair, hehe.

Little Man just lurvs joining Chica for lunch at her school—probably because he feels like such a big boy. :)

This shot is him saying: I’m pretty busy and important here at lunch, so I’m not sure I can humor you with a direct smile. Ha. But look how loverly Chica is. I heart her so.

And this is one of Chica’s bestest buddies and they’re just so cute together at all times that it slays me:

I hadn’t been to Chica’s classroom since Halloween, so it was lovely to see some of her new work hanging on the walls. Presh. Us.

I very much adore Chica’s classroom dynamic this year. I don’t know if it’s just a really fantastic mix of kiddos, or Chica’s really fantastic teacher, or the added benefit of everyone maturing another year since kindergarten (or maybe all three of these things!), but this class is just super fun, and I heart them all. Even the mischievous ones. ;)

And I heart my lovely friend, who tagged along post-lunch to help entertain Little Man when he got a little too excited to stay calmly seated on the carpet with all the kiddos, hehe. Supportive mom buddies are the best.

Seriously another fun round with all these cutie-pies, and they seemed to really dig the scratch-art project I brought along, and their finished creations were all so unique and creative.

Really love these moments of being able to connect with Chica’s school life (you know—that mysterious daytime life she has without me!), and I’m looking forward to a few more chances next week, during all the holiday whoopla.

:)

Over and out.
