The presence of projects in our lives is so totally a marker of my sanity during any given week.
So I mark this one as a major success, since we busted out a really adorable one that we found at Homegoods.
It was easy breezy, pretty, Spring-tastic, and uncomplicated. Win/win/win/win!
Basically, it came with lots o’ perforated butterflies to punch out...
Then color...
Then finish off with these adorable clips that give the butterflies a little extra somethin’ and also make them a bit sturdier.
Chicklet was in heaven. And we colored a few with the crayons from the kit—and then our own colors, since we have a plethora of choices, ha. And we made sure to do a second round again once Chica was home from school.
It’s been such a crazy Spring/Easter season, given the move (duh). But I’m pretty pleased that we’ve managed to cram in a few happy projects over the last couple of weeks. Add to that, our Easter soundtrack that we’ve been playing in the car nonstop, and we haven’t done too terribly bad this season. :)
More Easter fun tomorrow, when I have time to post about our egg hunt we did today!
