The headline: we’re facing the start of Week 14 of renovations, and Week 4 of living here during renovations, and still have no functional kitchen. :( BUT, we’ve made major strides in the right direction.
Countertops were installed this week, cabinets were painted, drawers and doors should be back on/in tomorrow, so if all goes according to plan (and let’s face it, it usually doesn’t, ha), we might finally—finally—be able to unload kitchen and pantry boxes in a day or two, with appliances to follow shortly thereafter.
I have lots o’ smaller things to post—hopefully if I can take a moment to do so, this evening—but for now, I’ll just say that we had some good chunks of family time today amidst errands (for all) and work (for the hubby). And, for the love, we needed to get out of the house, and shake up the renovation routine!
