Spiderwebs & Splashin’

So...for at least the past four years, we’ve busted our first Halloween decorations no later than September 15th. So considering it’s September 17th and we just now got around to it, we’re vastly behind. ;)

(Upon further review, we might be okay since we completed our awesomesauce porch freshening—including Fall decor—on September 9th.)

Anywho...today was The Day to begin our mantle decorating, which is generally the first indoor flair to appear. The kiddos came home from school without massive meltdowns, we whipped up some chocolate chip cookies and had them baking in the oven, and all was good in the world.

Now, I’m particularly pumped to report that this year, for the first time ever, we made a giant spiderweb happen. Like, the traditional gauzy kind, that works so perfectly with the stone fireplace in our new casa.

Naturally, it takes a village to prep a spiderweb, tehe.

I love my crazies, and I love, love, love how pumped Little Man was, in particular. I mean, he was vibrating with spiderweb energy.  :)

The web is just the very beginning of our mantle flair fun (thought you can see some random pumpkins we bought that will have a place somewhere). Tomorrow, we’ll be busting out our storage bins of decorations. Woohoo!

And then, because it’s South Texas and we can...we had a pool party with our Halloween fun. :)

Love my happy babies and this beautiful, photogenic sky.

Happy Random Tuesday In September, peeps!

Over and out.
