Downhill Thanksgiving Slide!

Oh. My. HEAVENS. The last two days have been packed!

I feel like we went from calm and lovely and basking in November-ness to INSANE and to-do lists a mile long—and it happened overnight!

Some has been loads of fun (I had a major holiday elf round of errands, errands, errands today), a lot has centered around volunteer odds and ends for the kiddos’ schools, and there’s still just a LOT to wrap up on this eve before the last day of pre-Thanksgiving school!

Anywho...tomorrow we’ll bid adieu to the week with a Thanksgiving season in Chicklet’s class (that I now get to help with—woohoo!), and then it’s oooooooon to the weekend!

Super pumped about some family activities this weekend (helloooo, Frozen 2, and pedicures I’ve planned with my girlies), but not at all pumped about a bunch of cleaning and laundry and packing that is looming very near on my horizon.

One day at a time, peeps. One day at a time.

And now, a sneak peek of the gear we’ve been creating for Chicklet’s class feast maƱana:

And two other total randoms for this lovely Thursday:

First, I adore my eldest, who ran toward “her” tree (we call it that because her window looks out upon it) yesterday after our bike ride around the neighborhood.

She was running toward it and calling it her “velvet tree,” and I didn’t really get it at first—until I realized she meant like red velvet, because of its currently gorgeous red leaves (and, naturally, red velvet is her favorite bundt cake flavor, and must have been on her mind, tehe).

:)

And, lastly...Little Man and I had the most fun yesterday doing a little clothes shopping. He needed a few more pairs of pants, and some shoes (he’s a weed!), and it was a total riot to have some dressing room silliness.

We didn’t buy the pants and suspenders below (he wants blue or orange suspenders like Blippi, ha), but look how stinking cute he is. :)

But we totally did buy this beautiful, midnight blue velvet blazer, because...awesomesauce. :)

Happy Almost Friday, peeps!

Over and out.
