Holiday At The Riverwalk!

With Nanna in town on a beautiful Friday, and the chance to head downtown right after the girlies were out of school, we took the opportunity to head to The Riverwalk for our first holiday visit there, and it was sooooo great. :)

The poor hubby had a procedure on his ear this morning and was a bit bandaged up, so he was along for the fun (being the trooper that he is), but we didn’t make him pose for any pictures.

But seriously, what a great evening to be out there, to dine al fresco (in December, no less!), and to enjoy a just-after-dark riverboat ride among holiday lights.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I really do love the ambience and the uniqueness of The Riverwalk. We don’t make it out there often; usually just when company is in town. But it’s always a really coolio visit, and definitely a major plus of living in SA.

:)

Ice cream pit stop after dinner...

Silliness with the rubber ducky that Chicklet brought along for the evening, ha...

Happy kiddos...

The draping lights throughout the entire Riverwalk circle were amazing. Such a cool atmosphere and really great to see at night. And—bonus—we had the absolute best and most hysterical boat captain, hehe.

Grateful for a fun, low-key evening—and perhaps a new tradition in-the-making. :)

Happy Weekend, peeps!

Over and out.
