Little Man’s Preschool Holiday Performance!

Okay, so...I might be a full week late in posting this, but last Thursday was Little Man’s holiday performance at school and it was just so stinking adorable that my cheeks hurt from smiling by the time it was over.

Because he attends a church preschool, it was a full nativity setup, and about half an hour of sing-alongs, and my boy had a prize role within the production.

He was...the donkey! Hehe.

And what a stinking adorable donkey he was!



Especially when he spotted me in the audience and began the routine waving that just melted my heart. :)





It seriously was such a lovely little low-key morning. 

We are so grateful to have landed at this school without much angst or over-analyzing. Just some neighbor recommendations and a really positive vibe during our in-person visit. Thank heavens for wonderful life decisions, amiright? And it was lovely to sync up with my neighbor friend for some adult chit chat prior to the show.

And then, because I’m a sucker for my babies and their requests for special one-on-one time, instead of sending my boy back to class after the performance, I totally busted him out of school for some fun time together. ‘Cause he’s four years old, and that’s what you do. :)



And because I’m really really a sucker (just like I was when I brought Chicklet home from school on Tuesday), I totally said YES to a for-no-reason gift. :)



What can I say?? Feeling like an easy mark this holiday, hehe.

P.P.S. So...the Chicklet update: man, did my poor girl really get taken out with this random virus. Her night was rough and her fever was at its highest point this morning, so no school again. And I’m sorry to report that she probably won’t be able to attend mañana, either. Boooooo. Still praying for restorative health vibes.
