To Grandparents’ Houses, We Go

Well, m’peeps.

It’s sort of become our summer tradition to spend the last week or so of July in Oklahoma, visiting grandparents.

And though this summer has been vastly different from any of the previous years, we were able to maintain great social distancing, with only two quick gas/restroom/food stops, and power through the nine hour trek without much pain today.

It was actually a complete JOY to drive through more than half a dozen random rainstorms (and then, complete opposite, gorgeous blue skies). And I mean, pouring sheets of rainstorms! Because we haven’t seen a drop in San Antonio for weeks and weeks.

And the sore bums and car confinement was totally worth it when we made it safe and sound to Nanna’s—and a beautiful evening walk to get our wiggles out.

So now, in reverse order...pics from our day:

Happy Hump Day, peeps.

Over and out.
