Color Your Own Mask Project

So, peeps.

Emotions (mine) are running a bit high around our casa.

School starts on Monday, and the quantity of e-mails I’m now receiving regarding all things virtual learning is...quite substantial.

I’ll post later this week or next about all my thoughts, and my kiddos’ thoughts, about the impending school year. But for now, I’ll just say—OYE. I’ll be ready to settle into things as quickly as possible so it won’t feel so daunting. Until then...trying to think happy thoughts.

Anywho.

Whenever I’m feeling anxious about things I can’t control, projects are always a good idea. And nothing says a project in Summer 2020 like color-your-own face masks, ha.

When Little man was finished freehand drawing his shark and sand/ocean on his face mask, he shifted to superhero coloring. :)

The masks turned out pretty cute and gave us a fun pre-dinner diversion. They’re sort of ill-fitting, so they were really just for funsies instead of for practical use, but still. All in good, creative fun. :)

At some point over the next few days, I’ll pull together a summer wrap-up—which just seems crazy that we’re already to that point!

Soaking up the last non-scheduled days as much as possible, peeps.

Over and out.
