Dear Santa, 2020 Edition

After such a crazy, busy, elf day yesterday, I’m so grateful to report a more low-key mood today.

Lots o’ quality time with m’boy while the girlies’ were at school, and then lots o’ lovely quality time with all my babies once everyone was home.

We took the opportunity, thanks to our zen/holiday vibe to unpack our Christmas mugs, make hot chocolate, bust out the elf fruits snacks, and address our letters to Santa.

With Christmas music playing and jolly moods for all, it was a happy thing. :)

For Chicklet, it’s a dragon that moves and a t-Rex this year...

For Chica, it’s a waterproof camera and a Hermione time-turner necklace...

And for Little Man, it’s a Haunted Mario Mansion and a Mario that talks...

We got a little distracted with some other activities before I could strongly suggest they add a bit more flattery and/or gratitude to their notes, instead of just an “I want” wish list, ha. Something to strive for next year. ;)

Either way...I love this magical milestone every year and the conversations that spark from it.

Several Elves on Shelves have appeared at the girlies’ school, and some of their friends have reported household sightings, as well. So the fun is truly about to ramp up.

Our elf traditionally spends just a solid two weeks with us, so as not to wear out his welcome ;) so I’m anticipating his debut this weekend.

Grateful tomorrow is already Thursday and it’s all downhill (in a good way) from here!

Stay healthy, stay sane, peeps.

Over and out.
