I managed it! A (short and sweet) double post day!
This one is nothing groundbreaking, just a lovely little Valentine project we enjoyed the other day, because I always hate to lose track of my projects in the shuffle of daily posts.
So here you have it...
We’ve had a lot of luck these past few seasons with great little easy-peasy projects from Tarjay. It’s nice to add to our collection of Hobby Lobby finds.
And—bonus!—I didn’t realize these were actually animals that opened up into Valentine cards when I purchased them. So the kiddos spent some time writing sweet little messages inside. :)
Camouflaged shark... ;)
And awesomesauce bed head this past Monday, might I add, ha.
After we spent some nice, quality time assembling these in the morning, I hung out with the kiddos upstairs while we made bracelets, and it made me so happy when Chica said, “I love it when you’re with us in the playroom.” :) Because, let’s be real: Mamas are often doing a million things at once. So while I spend plenty of quality time with my babies, it’s often focused on a particular task or project or game that I plan, and not just chill time to watch a movie or hang while they are upstairs (at least, not without me also doing laundry whilst “hanging,” ha). So this was extra-special nice.
They were sweet and happy. :)
And later, we played some card games together...
And went on a special Starbucks drink-and-cake-pops run.
And somewhere in there, we managed one of the doodles I’ve already posted, and a yummy Chick-fil-A lunch treat.

Like I said, it was just a really solid Monday outside our routine, and I think it set the stage for a really solid week.
SO grateful it’s almost Friday, though.
Stay healthy, stay sane, peeps.
Over and out.
