Wisconsin 2021–Day 2 (Part 2)

So…our inaugural strawberry-picking excursion when we first came to see the Uncles in Wisconsin three years ago was so wonderful that it remains one of our milestone memories from that trip.

So, naturally, we marked it as a wish-list priority for this go-‘round.

And we barely made it happen again—by the skin of our teeth!—as the farm we went to three years ago just sold (when the owners retired after, like, 40 years), and the other You Pick farm we located within the area was on its LAST DAY of picking. I mean…the luck!

Once again, it was such a highlight, and there’s nothing comparable to the taste of a sun-warmed strawberry, fresh off the vine. :)

I’m so grateful my kiddos are accumulating the memories of this tradition.

And I’m only mildly apologetic for the thousands of pictures. ;)

P.S. Stamp a giant “mission accomplished” on this sweet little note Chica penned during the final week of school, when she had to write about something she was looking forward to this Summer. :)

P.P.S. Please enjoy some post-dinnertime kiddos shenanigans.
