Halloween Dress-up Montage!

Yup.

You read that correctly.

I typed “Halloween” in a post dated September 8th, ‘cause we are SO those people who celebrate early and often, and we have zero shame!

I’ve been scooping up Halloween odds and ends for a couple of weeks, now, and the storage decoration buckets are out and just waiting for us to bust them open.

I always try to restrain myself with outdoor decor until late September (I mean, I feel like that shows massive restraint), but indoors, it’s all spooky, all the time, beginning around the second full week of the month. :)

I just can’t say enough happy things about how much our household enjoys this holiday. It gives us great joy, will live it up in a big way, and we are ready to start gettin’ haunty up in here.

Now…cue a hilarious montage of a gazillion pics—all thanks to these adorable (and oh so soft!) pajamas I happened across today.

It is impossible to find short-sleeved holiday jammies that can accommodate our Texas heat (I even once brought long-sleeved Christmas pajamas to a tailor for them to be shortened, and the tailor thought I was nuts, but obliged), so I was thrilled to bits and pieces and bits to find these.

And speaking of thrilled…I think the kiddos’ faces whilst playing with the dozens of our old Halloween costumes pretty much say it all. :) It was a HAPPY afternoon with m’babies.

Okay. Lemme take a moment to talk about our Interrupting Hot Dog (as Chicklet hilariously dubbed herself).

Her hot dog costume from a couple years ago is hands down her favorite, and she’s worn it multiple times. She just LOVES hamming it up whilst wearing it (I’m sure there’s a meat joke in there some where).

Anywho…around this time in our costume montage, she made it her personal mission to photo bomb pretty much EVERY picture. So keep a hilarious eye out for her. :)

Now. This is around the time I decided my kiddos weren’t wired enough—NOT—and I put them to work making donut holes for extra funsies. :)

I mean…between the pajamas, the costumes, the baking, the homework, the reading, the dinner-cooking, and lots of other shenanigans, it was a pretty packed afternoon/evening.

But definitely a joyful one.

Happy Hump Day, peeps!

Over and out.
