Love Bugs & Snuggly Duds!

Well, peeps.

It felt like a pretty packed week around our casa.

At least, packed enough that we were absolutely game for a pajama Saturday with nowhere to be and nothing to do. Lazy, recharging time. :)

Now. I’ve definitely shared how much my kiddos lurv their lazy pajama days, but I don’t think I’ve mentioned how they systemically reserve and select their pjs based on the ones they want clean and available to wear allllllll day Saturday.

It so adorable to observe their selection process when they know it’s a Friday night and there’s a chance for an in-day. They get all lit up inside and go for their soft, cozy favorites. Happy little clams, I tell ya.

As such, since I know how much they adore their cozy duds, I never mind buying them pajamas that will get a ton of love and use.

And we’ve had such fantastic luck the past couple of years with these ultra-soft Tar-jay ones. The fabric is like the best blanket, and they keep rolling out with new patterns (at least during the colder months of the year) that I can’t resist. In fact, I snagged new ones yesterday. Just in time for the weekend!

Oh! And have I mentioned yet that Nanna is in town?? I caught a pic of some snuggly-pajama hug love. ;)

Seriously…as I’m sifting through all my pics, I’m feeling like we might have a problem with these particular pjs, but it’s hard to curb the love when the price point is $10! Now $8, since I think they’re about to stop making them for the warm months.

The love began with this holiday pattern last year…

And then a different holiday pattern this year…

These really lovely tie-dye ones I got for all three kiddos last season…

And this fun tie-dye/army pattern for Little Man a couple months ago…

And now these two new styles. :)

It’s hard not too love ‘em when they’re a great price, as soft as any clothing comes, and they bring such smiles to my babies. :)

Anywho. In summary: we love our ultra-cozy pajamas, and I already mourn the time—probably in the next month or two—when it will get warm enough to have to tuck them away.

Something to look forward to each year, yes??

Likewise with Valentine fun—which will be coming to a close in a few short days! Time to take advantage of any final projects we have around the casa.

Like these love bugs. :)

A lovely low-key activity for our lazy day.

And so are puzzles!

And so is baking. ;) This was just a standard chocolate cake with some almond buttercream icing that was nice for a change.

So…in summary:

Busy week.

Lazy Saturday.

Cozy pajamas.

Love bugs—in project and human form.

Happy Saturday, peeps!

Over and out.
