What a joyful change of pace this week has been. Just me and my summer babies.
This has been exactly the slow few days we needed at the midpoint of the summer: our one and only week without travel, camps or COVID. Ha.

And we’ve taken full advantage of the time.
With cooking, baking, projects, tons of reading, swimming, school work, movie-watching, snuggling. It’s been heaven.
Even more so, since it’s not the norm for our summer schedule. It helped us appreciate it in a big, big way. :)
Oh—and who can forget Chica’s arm gaining freedom this week?? I’m telling ya: all good things.
My mind is already starting to shift toward packing for our annual Oklahoma/grandparent visit that launches this weekend. So here’s to soaking up the last bit of this downtime we can, before it’s time for more adventures.
