Yesterday, we made the loooooong drive back home.
Today, I spent the day in regroup mode, tackling all the yucky unpacking, plus 2,743 loads of laundry.
And tomorrow, our whole crew will definitely have come down off the high of a lovely holiday spent in Oklahoma.
But before our bubble officially bursts, and we have to move on to the next slew of busyness, I want to share a few more photos from our Thanksgiving 2023.
One of the highlights of the trip—and a totally accidental bit of hilarity: a family photo session with my entire side!
A couple weeks ago, I texted my sister-in-law and was like: is it a terrible or terribly awesome idea to try to take family pictures??? And she totally took the ball and ran with it, woohoo!
She found the most comedic photographer, it was freezing cold and we were all a little slap happy, and we had the most golden, autumnal scenery and light. :)
I love some of these candids I snapped, so much.
But the absolute best bit of it all: an accidental That’s What She Said moment on my part that literally left us in tears. Tears, people.

I’m so grateful for such happy family time and some easy-breezy pictures that will help us remember this holiday for a long time to come.
