Little Man’s Soccer Season Wrap-Up!

Okay, peeps.

It’s been a wild day of highs and lows, but I’ll have to take some of it in chunks and different posts. Oye.

For tonight, I really want to stick with one of the major highs…

Little Man’s final soccer game of the season!

And what an unexpectedly successful season it was!

If you can believe it, the team had enough wins to qualify them for the play-offs, which didn’t entail any extra games, just their final game against the other team with the most wins. 

And Little Man’s team won! 

Which meant they were officially the “championship” team, and were awarded these amazing little trophies!

The hubby has coached several teams (both soccer and basketball) for our kiddos through this particular league, and, hysterically, none of the teams ever ended the season with a winning record.

So this was absolutely a first, and a surprise, and Little Man and his buddies were so stinking excited.

What a wonderful thing to have these four boys—who are classmates and friends, and all enjoy soccer so much—decide to play together on a team simply for the fun and joy of it, end up with such a positive experience and season. :)

My heart is so full for my boy (I caught him drawing a free-hand picture of his trophy tonight before bed), and I’m so grateful to the hubby for putting so much time and effort into making this a happy experience for all the kiddos on this team.

Mission. Absolutely. Accomplished.
