We’re a couple hours from home after 10 days in Tulsa, and it kind of feels like I blinked and it all passed in a blur!
Obviously, the whole point of it all was Nanna’s knee replacement surgery, but the kiddos enjoyed so many fun activities with their other grandparents while I was otherwise engaged, and there was a lot of cousin time, too.
Definitely a different kind of vibe than our annual summer visit to Oklahoma, but the kiddos felt that I-wanna-but-don’t-wanna-go-home thing with our departure, so memories were made. :)
I feel like it’s going to take me a day or two to regroup, but Chica’s bday is Thursday, so it’s time to shift gears toward celebration shenanigans and then maybe this weekend, some catchup chill time will be had.
