Getting our autumnal foliage kick is pretty much the most glorious thing about traveling beyond South Texas in the Fall (as evidenced by our Mohonk trip), and this Thanksgiving round in Tulsa has been beautifully colorful. :)
My crew had a brief afternoon chunk of time on Wednesday to meet up for some tiny cousin time (after our movie viewing!) to take a walk, get our wiggles out, and breathe some fresh, crisp air.
Better, still—while we were walking, I noticed several yard crews in the neighborhood, managing giant piles of leaves, and I kept thinking: man, I wonder if they’d let us jump in them quickly before they finish their work, ha.
Alas, I knew that would make an even bigger mess for those crews, so I never asked…but we did bust out a rake once we were back home. :)
I mean, is anything more classic than some Fall foliage frolicking???
The bummer about a delay in our departure for the holiday is an extra-quick trip. Already about to pack it up tonight, but we’ve also packed in a lot o’ family time, so we’ll be grateful for what we’ve enjoyed.

More maƱana, peeps!
Over and out.
