It was another classic NYC December day, complete with our bucket list Nutcracker matinee and mandatory ballerina poses. ;)
We started out a bit low-key with a diner brunch, after our packed day, yesterday…
And then some time wandering a few stores before prepping for the performance…
Helloooo, Lincoln Center!
And yes, yes I do embarrass my family and force them into these poses…
And, yes, yes I did have red bow boots (that I managed to wear for seven hours and about nine thousand of our twelve thousand steps, today…thankyouverymuch)…
After a bit of worry over our ticket situation (a long story from when we booked them), it was the happiest surprise to have amazing seats. :) A perfect viewing experience!
We had the yummiest dinner, post-show, at a place called Leopard des Artistes. Sooooo yummy. And a beautiful location in Central Park West.
Then we strolled home along Central Park and spent some time wandering the booths of a Christmas market before returning back to the hotel to pack it in for the night…and get a little silly with earmuffs. :)
Absolutely another wonderful day, and I’m so grateful for this time—especially with older bro and his hubby, who I don’t get to see as often as I’d like!
Tomorrow morning, we’re attending a morning show of The Rockettes and a high tea as we wrap up our visit.
Missing my family like CRAZY right about now, and I know it will only get worse tomorrow, but I’m trying to enjoy our final day!
More mañana, peeps.
Over and out.
