Candles SPARKING Joy!

You don’t have to tell me. I’m hilarious, I know. ;) But hold that candle thought…

Okay, peeps. Like everyone else, we’re in the holiday thick of it!

We popped by the hubby’s work party, yesterday.

We’re hosting a literal gaggle of nearly 30 kiddos on Friday for our annual Flash Craft Party.

Chica has orchestra concerts tonight and tomorrow—plus four other orchestra commitments through next week.

Throw in some choir performances (two…I think?), Chicklet’s dance performance (during the school day, Halleluiah!), Little Man’s Spelling Bee, a couple toy drives, theme days for every freaking school day through next Friday (which means things to remember to buy/dress in), teacher gifts to assemble, a Barre Ladies Holiday party for me, and…

A partridge in a pear tree! Ha.

Needless to say…we busy.

Like everyone else in the world!

But we’re trying to hold on to the JOY amidst all the chaos, and for me, that meant zooming to Bath & Body Works last Friday at 7:50 a.m. for their annual Candle Day extravaganza before I raced to meet the school bus for Little Man’s field trip I was chaperoning.

And you know what??? WORTH IT.

For anyone not in the know…they have this massive sale once a year, specifically for their three-wick candles and the stock up bonanza is JOYFUL. They even have signature shopping bags (free!) and a signature candle scene (not free) to commemorate!

I got my retail therapy on, and sparked some significant happiness before chasing a bunch of 4th grade boys around an indoor/outdoor museum (and only one fell in the water, ha).

Hoping for a slew of catch-up posts today amidst a whole lot of other to-dos, so…wish me luck! And imagine how lovely my house smells. ;)
