Helloooo, peeps, from the eve of our annual Flash Craft Kids’ Holiday Party!
To say I have a to-do list a gazillion miles long is a major understatement. It’s gonna be a DOOZY. But a festive doozy! We’re mostly excited (and only a little bit scared) about 26 kids running around the house. Yikes!
So…stay tuned over the weekend for a report on that whole hoopla, but for now, I’m stuck in the car for half an hour during Chica’s violin lesson, so I’ll quickly share another little festive project I pulled together last weekend:
This year’s holiday teacher gifts!
I actually lurv me a good teacher gift craft, believe it or not. We’ve had some fun over the years with some really creative packaging for gift cards (which is really what this is all about: a vessel for a gift card!).
We’ve made snowmen, holiday trees with gift card “ornament,” a candy sleigh with a gift card…all sorts of fun.
It’s hard to keep coming up with ideas, and I’m not gonna lie: we’re on the tail end of this whole shebang, since Little Man is my standalone in elementary school and the girlies are too embarrassed to gift to their middle school teachers (understandable).
So I kept it simple but elevated with a double quilted bell jar situation. :)
The bottom portion contains the gift card, and the top has some candy. They’re classy, cute and the printable gift tags (laminated, natch) add a little extra bit of flair!
I grabbed a smattering of gift cards (Crumbl for music, art, PE and librarians, and Target for Little Man’s academic teachers) and added some shredded paper to the jars to make them look cute.
Then I loaded the tiny top jar with yummy candies and hot glued the jars together (with the lids facing one another).
Then came the printable tags because this look is adorable, but just too plain!
Honestly, the perfect topper (literally) for the whole concept was these stinking adorable—and gorgeous!—Minted brand bows they had at Target. I’ve used and loved Minted for nearly 15 years, so I’m always happy to support their endeavors! And I adored the foil element on these particular bows:
Gorgeous! I loved seeing them all together once they were done and packaged up for delivery to school!
When you’ve been gifting to teachers for this many years, you’ve gotta make it fun and find the joy in the process, and this definitely met the criteria!
I was so pleased with the ease and cuteness factor of these beauties that I’m making another round of them for my Barre Ladies’ holiday party and a few other lovely peeps I gift to over the season.
Gotta love a fun way to package trusty gift cards! And a fairly chill hour or two on a Saturday (so rare!) to make it happen!

Okay…more over the weekend, peeps!
Happy Almost Friday!
Over and out!
