Okay, peeps.
Picking up where I left off with the second half of our day in Vail. :)
We drove, we hiked, we paused for some lunch at our favorite little sandwich haunt, and then…we rented e-bikes and went for a nine-mile ride!
It started all sunny and gorgeous and blue-skied, and then, just as we’d made it to the halfway point and started the journey back, the skies opened up and it started pouring and hailing.
The wind was whipping so furiously and the tiny bits of ice were attacking our faces so fiercely we had to seek shelter with some other riders under a pine tree to wait it out! Then, like 15 minutes later, it was all clear again! At least we kept with our yo-yo weather theme of the trip. ;)

Then, to cap things often the hiking, biking, eating and shopping…we went for some dinner and bowling. :) Followed by caramel apples and coffee. ;)
Needless to say, it was an Advil kind of night, ha. But a full and happy Vail day.
