A Second Baptism on a Second Birthday Weekend!

Nothing--and I really do mean NOTHING--gives me greater joy (or more gray hair--seriously, my hair lady told me three weeks ago I now have concentrated patches, not just stray gray!!!) than my girls.

My beautiful, healthy (thank you, God), terrible-sleeping and wanna-be-attached-to-mama-24/7, lights-of-my-life girls.

And today, my secondborn had the great privilege of her baptism.

I'm so grateful that, despite the craziness of the entire weekend, I was able to enjoy it for the milestone and gift that it is (again, thank you, God).

And I'm also so glad that Chicklet waited until five minutes after the sacrament to poo in her white christening gown (loudly) from her front-row church pew.

Wouldn't be my child if she didn't noisily let it go (let it go, can't hold it back anymore...sing it with me, peeps) at inopportune times.

;)

My awesome blossom family members caught a bunch of pics, so though I have higher res ones on my actual camera, you get these without delay!

As is now our tradition ('cause we done did it twice) we had a fried chicken baptism. Nothing better than a delicious meal somebody else prepares!

What a beautiful weekend with my beautiful family and priceless friends.

Oh--and would you just look at this halter dress! I die.

Next weekend might be a holiday, but it's sure gonna pale compared to this!
