Olaf!

You know you're holiday decorating for your tiny tots when you buy a giant, inflatable, happy snowman who likes warm hugs.

Yep, that'd be Olaf.

From this totally obscure little movie you might've heard of, called Frozen, or something like that.

I bought Olaf with the intention of him living in the back yard for the month of December, but I have a sneaking suspicion he'll be an indoor friend for a little while first.

Chica's wildly obsessed, to say the least.

We inflated him before running some evening errands, and we weren't yet out of the neighborhood when she piped up from the backseat with an adorable, "I'na go home."

Separation anxiety is tough.

:)

My sweet Chicklet isn't quite sure what to make of him, yet, but I think he'll grow on her--once she gets over the slight scare of his quick inflation process.

Meanwhile, in other we've-decorated-for-the-kids news: last weekend, we adorned our crop of trees out front with some giant ornaments, much to the delight of our wee ones.

It was a fun little addition to the classic window wreaths and white roofline lights we've got going on. And a happy family activity way to transition from Thanksgiving into the snowball of a beautiful Christmas.

Loving this season with my family. But I'm hoping all our nutty contract work will be finished this coming week! More on that later.

Happy Weekend, peeps!
