Though we decided to just have a low-key family fun day, we wanted it to be special for her, and something out-of-the-ordinary, so we decided to make the short trek to this fantastic water park about 20 minutes away that we'd never been to before.
It would be an understatement to say it was a big hit.
Both girls had a blast. They particularly enjoyed the lazy river, which was awesome, low-stress entertainment. But the wave pool was also a winner, and so were the slides in the kiddie area.
It was a great family activity and someplace we'll definitely return to for special occasions.

Oh, and here are a couple pics of the gift opening. We got her a new Rapunzel nightgown that she luuuurvs, and a Frozen sing-a-long microphone. Takes so little to bring a big smile :)
LOVE my beautiful, growing three-year-old like CRAZY.
