Day 2 (but, really, our first full day), and we spent it shopping, eating and exploring in downtown Telluride—plus a bonus round of fishing up in Mountain Village (the slightly higher elevation area where we’re staying), then more eating and wandering.

And Little Man with his first ever catch!
Since my beloved youngest plays it so cool most days, and looks and acts far older than his years, it was extra-special sauce amazing to see his boyish glee over successfully reeling in (then releasing!) this Rainbow Trout. His smile slayed me. As did his pronouncement: “I’m a fisherman!”
Now…rewinding back to morning and then powering straight through the whole day, since I’m so tuckered out, I have no energy for words!
