It’s not often, as an adult, that I get the kind of screeching-joy EXCITED that I did yesterday, when I realized my new car is magnetic again, which means, my beloved holiday lights are back in action!
Like, legitimately, I screamed so loud in pure freaking-out HAPPINESS that I scared Coda girl, my hubby and the kids, and was pretty much running around like a lunatic.
To rewind for context…back in the day (circa 2015), I owned my Oreo car that I loved. It was white and magnetic and when I wanted to show some holiday vehicular flair, I found these magnet lights online and they brought So. Much. Joy.
It’s the little things, peeps. It really is.
I’ve been decking our dang halls for two weeks, now, and I have sooooo many pics to share. So…more, soon, peeps!

Sadly, the car we ended up with after Oreo’s demise was not magnetic—a fact I learned the hard way, when I busted out my beloved holiday lights that year, and realized they Just. Didn’t. Work.
I mourned them, big time.
And the whole magnetic fail was hysterically symbolic, as it came at the end of one of our hardest years (the brunt of our relocation to SA).
Anywho…early this year I finally bought a new (under warranty; Amen, HALLELUIAH!) car, and just sort of assumed it wouldn’t be magnetic, either.
IMAGINE. MY. JOY. when I realized it was. :)
Sooooooo glad to have these magnets back.
