Breckenridge 2025–Day 1!

Hellooo, peeps, from Breckenridge!

We just wrapped up a glorious few days in Vail, and, typically, that would be it and we’d be headed home.

But, this round, we have the luxury of just a bit more time, since grandparents drove down to San Antonio to rescue Coda girl from boarding, so…we hopped on over to this town we always lurv for a quick two days before we wrap up our Colorado adventures.

I loved our rental in Vail so much that it was a bit sad to leave, actually! Plus, we had such a wonderful three days, there. So long, Vail!

But, Breck is always a good idea, and it makes our hearts happy just to think of all the food we love and the shops we adore and the scenery that feels so familiar.

And, how cute that Little Man brought his stuffed dog, Breck back to Breck…where he came from a year ago. :)

The hubby dreams about this pizza all year long. Best gluten-free, dairy-free crust, FULL STOP.

I mean, the peach & prosciutto is amahhhhhhzing.

Plus, how hysterical that Little Man has a scar from this restaurant and likes to revisit the scene of its origin:

Yup, he was climbing this tree when we wounded himself.

Of all the Colorado places we visit, Breckenridge is chock full of the most stores and restaurants and coffee shops that we repeat visit every, dang time.

We got pretty lucky with weather, yet again. We expected rain all day, but it didn’t roll in until dinnertime.

And then we spent the afternoon shopping, shopping, shopping. :)

In the late afternoon, we scheduled an Escape Room adventure, just in case of poor weather. We made it out in the 60 minutes and it was really fun!

It was such a solid day, visiting our familiar haunts. Our bellies are full, our feet are tired, and the kiddos are happy.

It’s our last full day, tomorrow. So here’s hoping for more glorious Colorado fresh air.

More mañana!

Over and out.
