I’m literally dividing this day’s activities into two separate posts, because there are just too many glorious pics from our JOYOUS morning activity, which was a first for us:
Goat Yoga!

I don’t think there’s a happier way to exercise!

When we arrived, we got to greet some of the beautiful horses we interacted with later in the day…

And had some fun with some safe axe throwing…

Then, it was time for the goats!

We spent a couple of minutes herding them into the yoga space, and holy cuteness!

This was Holly, our instructor, who’s been teaching Goat Yoga for a decade. She was a delight, and just the right blend of instructor regarding both the yoga, and enjoying the goats. :)

And I can’t say enough wonderful things about the location! We’ve been to many places for horseback riding, and this was definitely one of the most picturesque! If not the most. Such a peaceful and beautiful environment for our GOGA experience!

We came across this activity when we booked our horseback riding, as it’s hosted on the same property. But we weren’t sure if we’d have time, so we waited until this morning and made a game time decision, and holy moly, was it the BEST decision, ever!

This was Twisty the goat. He was my bud for most of the class, and had stunning blue eyes.

Not gonna lie: I was uuuuber proud of being called The Goat Whisperer by our instructor. They were hoarding me at the start of the class. Must be all the Coda love skills I’ve accumulated. :)

It’s wild to think we almost passed on this opportunity! Hands down, one of the happiest things we’ve done up here in Colorado—and that’s saying a lot!

Other than a giant clump of hair that I lost to my goat hoard (whoopsies!) I give this activity a 1,000 out of 10. Nature, cute animals (who bleat like little kids), the best view, a glorious day, some exercise, and my fam. Incredible!
Okay, more in a bit with Part 2, peeps!
Over and out.
