Goodness.
It's always wild to me when you plan for the holiday, you look forward to the holiday, you travel for the holiday, you enjoy the holiday, and then...it's in your rear view window! It goes by so fast!
We're lucky to have enjoyed a picture perfect Thanksgiving up in Maine. Our first day there, it was a bit dreary and rainy, but still wonderful to be together, and then the sun came out for Thanksgiving Day and we enjoyed a gorgeous and classic holiday.
Older bro and his hubby have taken such care in curating their home, and the dining room, in particular, is so stunning (with just-installed wallpaper I adore!). It was such a lovely setting for our meal. Almost a throwback vibe--which shouldn't be a surprise, considering the home was built in 1923. The food was delicious, my kiddos were thrilled we could all manage at the Big Kid Table, ha, and it was another wonderful holiday memory for the books.
And sort of in reverse order...our morning involved fun with hatchets (!), a glorious coffee run (a local shop that was open and had a bucket latte!) some crafting, and some puzzle time. All. Good. Things. :)
Grateful, thankful, full-bellied, happy-chill-time, family vibes, all around!
One more Maine post to share, soooooon, peeps!
Over and out.
