Yesterday afternoon, we flew direct to Boston and drove the rest of the way to older bro and his hubby’s beautiful new (but 100-year-old) casa in Maine!
We had much better luck than the rest of my extended family. They each suffered through delayed flights and missed connections that left them stuck in unintended cities overnight. Booo. But by late last night, we’d all made it—woohoo!
It was a lovely day of getting our bearings, going into Portland for some delicious pizza, a raucous round of bowling, and a handful of errands.
All the happy pre-Thanksgiving things, along with tons of family and pack-in-togetherness time. :)
It’s going to be a beautiful Thanksgiving Day, tomorrow! Looking forward to it. :)
