I didn’t manage to post yesterday because our evening was a bit long—with good reason!
We’ve been Dude Perfect fans for quite some time (IYKYK), and we’ve been trying to make it to one of their stadium shows for the past two Summers.
Welp. We finally managed it, last night! In Salt Lake City, of all places! Hysterically, we had plans to go to a Houston show, but hadn’t booked tickets. Then when we planned this trip, we randomly realized they’d be here at the same time. Wild!
It was SO fun to see the kiddos excited about this group of YouTube phenoms they’ve loved for so long. We booked seats on the floor, we were among our people (meaning: families, families, families!) and it was so lovely to watch our kiddos enjoying themselves so, dang much. :)
We kind of let the evening show be our main activity for the day and let the rest be a little more free-flowing. We had a lazy—but absolutely delicious!—breakfast out, a double coffee run, some pool time back at the hotel, and the most amazing mid-afternoon snack (pics below).
Okay, so this was our scrumptious afternoon sugar rush: instead of high tea, it’s called High Chocolate. I mean, come on.
It was some amazing, frozen hot chocolate, topped with cotton candy that they melt right in front of you. Then your choice of a handful of high-tea type of desserts—you know, just in case the hot chocolate isn’t sugary enough, ha.
So after swimming and the massive sugar rush, we freshened up and went to an amazing dinner (Mumbai House) even though we were still so stuffed, and then headed into the city for the show. :)
As you can see, the kiddos were high on life during dinner, pumped about the night ahead.

Okay…we’re already 3/4 way through yet another day since these activities, so, hopefully, another post is coming, soon!
