Thanksgiving 2015

I've been reading a book with the girls this month that I just love. It's a simple, sweet one called "Pumpkin Prayer," and it's in my head as I type this.

With thanks I say a pumpkin prayer, under the autumn sky.

For crunch, crunch, crunch beneath my feet, and leaves piled up this high.

If only my tired brain could remember every line by heart right now. Alas, it cannot. But I do remember how it ends:

For family, friends and plenty, and a God who loves me so.

I could not be more grateful this year for my beautiful, blessed family. It's an abundance of riches and daily joy that I hope to never take for granted.

So from mine to yours, I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
