Library Shenanigans!

So, I’m only two weeks late in posting this but, hey—better late than never, yes??

It was after dance class two weeks ago when we joined Chicklet’s little friend (and her baby sister and her Mama) at the library.

Now, you might remember our past fun times at the library, taking the Music and Movement class. But honestly, it’s been ages since we’ve been, because Little Man was in a non-cooperative phase, Chicklet was in a short-window of coopwration phase, and it was just more work for yours truly than it was worth.

But.

Apparently, absence (and six months or so of cognitive development) definitely makes the heart grow fonder because the kiddos were wildly excited to be there for the new Adventure Tots class.

It was a great little class that began with some songs—many of which the kiddos’ remembered from past rounds—and then focused on learning about a particular animal and its’ habitat. And this week’s animal was drum roll, puh-lease)...alligators!

And if you know my kiddos, you know they lurv alligators. ;)

Part of the learning fun included a couple of alligator-themed books—and Chicklet was insane-in-the-membrane excited and focused for the reading. And totally into raising her hand and blurting out random commentary, ha.

I mean, it was a very fun return to the library, and definitely a class we can attend again.

So grateful to our friends for inviting us and reminding us of the fun library opportunities that are out there for us...when kiddos are smiley and cooperative. :)

Happy Almost Holiday-Weekend-Friday, peeps!
