What a roller coaster of a day it’s been (for me, at least).
We planned our major excursion for today—a four hour boat tour to Stingray City, snorkeling along the barrier reef, and a stop at Starfish Island. It was all so fun and different (our first snorkeling as a family!) and then we followed it up with a yummy lunch at the beautiful Kimpton…

But, sometime shortly after the boat and all throughout lunch, I started to feel really nauseous.
But, sometime shortly after the boat and all throughout lunch, I started to feel really nauseous.
It got progressively worse over the next hour. By the time we went back to the cottage to regroup and sunscreen up the kiddos again for some low-key beach time…I tanked. Hard.
I spent five hours vomiting up my soul. Like, absolutely miserable.
We’ve been eating family style for most everything, so I’m not sure if it’s food poisoning or something else, but…I consider it a massive miracle that I turned the corner after so many hours and have managed to stop with the throwing up.
Luckily, we travel with some prescription nausea meds and they’ve helped here at the tail end.
We plan to have a super low-key day of shopping and beach tomorrow, so I’ll just have to take it easy.
In the meantime, in other happy news: the grandparents arrived at our casa in SA and were able to bust our Coda girl out of boarding jail so she wouldn’t have to be there the whole time. :)

Okay…more mañana, peeps, but wish me better health!
